There’s always something fun happening in LA, and the holiday season is definitely no exception. In fact, there are so many events, festivities, and celebrations happening all season long, it can be hard to choose between them all. Having trouble deciding which activities are most worth your time?
Here are the best LA holiday events this season.
Outdoor Ice Skating (Yes, in LA!)

Get your skate on without the cold nose and frozen fingers, thanks to LA’s beautiful winter weather. We might not get snow in Los Angeles, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find a little bit of ice here and there! Head to the Holiday Ice Rink in Pershing Square (Downtown LA) for a truly magical skating experience.
There’s another outdoor skating opportunity over in South Park at LA Live. LA Kings Holiday Ice features a huge tree and an LED light show!
Winter Wonderland at The Grove

When: Now through Dec 25
Where: The Grove LA
The Grove is open all year round, but it’s especially fun during the holiday season, thanks to its 100-foot Christmas tree, Santa House, nightly snowfall at 7pm and 8pm, and Tuesday night Pet Photos. Winter Wonderland runs from November through December 25. (Pet photos end December 11.)
Hollywood Christmas Parade

When: Dec 1
Where: Hollywood
You don’t have to celebrate Christmas to have a jolly good time at one of LA’s most timeless traditions. You can purchase reserved grandstand seats ahead of time or simply find curbside seating the day of.
LA County Holiday Celebration

When: Dec 24
